Cyber-bullying District Policy

The Sycamore staff and Tech Committee worked together to assess the technology needs of our site.  We feel fortunate to have been able to purchase new forms of technology in ALL 2nd-5th grade classrooms!   Based on these new technologies, as well as the growing needs of our staff and students, our Tech Plan was created with the following frame:

Additionally, we have developed our tech program with a "project-based" approach.  This approach enables our students to learn new skills as they develop projects.  Our tech project curriculum is also linked to the NETS (National Educational Technology Standards for Students).  These standards were created by ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education).  The standards can be used to ensure our learning is truly project-based.  Below is a link to our grade-by-grade curriculum (linked with the NETS as well as a complete list of the NETS.
