Library-Media

Welcome to Sycamore's Library from your Library Coordinators - Mrs. Reedy and Ms. Boss

Kindergarten through fifth grade students spend one half hour each week in the library. During their visit, they begin by listening to a grade appropriate story or participating in a library related activity. They then check out a book or a number of books, dependent upon their grade level. Did you know you can view our library's online catalog from any Internet connected device? Please click on the Sycamore Library Homepage link to peruse our over 18,000 titles!

Book Fair News

Thank you for supporting our book fair!

Tumblebooks

TumbleBooks is here! This online e-book program supports reading, especially in grades K - 3. Students go online, choose from over 200 popular childrens book titles, and then can either read the book independently or can choose to read along with the animated narration. The site includes reading levels, games & puzzles, online comprehension tests, book reports, etc. Students are using this site in their classrooms and in the computer lab.
